Well, if you haven’t seen it by now, chances are you either don’t care or understand what’s going on, but if for some reason you don’t and still have questions here’s the gist of why WM3 Net Radio and KKOTD split…

Money…

That’s it, the only reason we split is because we don’t have enough of it to continue operations. KKOTD has been inactive for a very long time and had more or less become a shadow corp. Many of the sites will be fully taken down soon, including Sacred, Firebloom and my own personal blog. We just don’t have the money to support them anymore and that’s the truth of it. I want to thank http://lessel.us for being such a great host and providing us with the lowest price I’ve ever seen on web hosting. Mark is an amazing friend and businessman and I implore all of you to seek him out if you ever need premium web hosting on a shoe-string budget.

That said, our domain is renewed for a year, http://wm3netradio.com will run out soon and our web hosting is still up in the air right now. Right now, all we can do is kill off all the inactive sites and try to save space to lower the costs. If it doesn’t happen… The network will go dark in the next few months.

UPDATE: Also, I am the only staffer left, Rina left a long time ago, our engineer had to leave due to school, Throm hasn’t been around in ages, Matt and Tim were packaged with WM3 and everyone else has now been cut from their blogs and columns due to the site closing.

Terra is a story that I’d been writing for the last 12 years. It has over 4000 pages split into 14 books / stories. The story had taken on just about every genre of writing in existence, from first person, third person, second person and even a forum based RPG. Hundreds of people helped me write and continue this story. But as all good things start, they must also come to an end. I had been writing Terra: The Jericho Chronicles in a secret nook that few had managed to find. Well, as time is now a rarity of mine, I no longer have time to continue writing. So I give you all, one last glimpse at what the story of Terra was up to.

It isn’t much, but it was a home and a small place for my writings. Most of the posts are marked private, mainly because I never finished them. This site will continue to exist until tonight around 12am EST at which time it will be taken down indefinitely. It may be brought back if I find more time, but as of this post, the time required just doesn’t exist. I’m struggling as it is to find time to work on my other projects (Sacred, Firebloom, TOGC, WM3) let alone trying to be an active part of the gaming community and an active community member over at VTWProductions.com.

It is sad to see one of my projects die off, but it’s been an incredible 12 years (since I was 9 years old) that this story has come from vague ideas of a kid to the idealistic ideals of love, romance and burden. For anyone even thinking of offering me a contract for the story, no, I’m not signing on to anyone, it’s my book and I’m not going to ask for money for what’s essentially one of my many hobbies. If you wish to repost quotes from it, please email me and we can talk. I ask that you EMAIL me though, most likely I will say yes.

Thera – Owner and Operator of The KKOTD Network

As announced on Twitter, a new show hosted by Theranos will be starting in February by the name of ‘The Opinionated Gamercast’ or TOGC for short. This will be a shorter snack-size type show where games, news and topics are discussed in short, fast paced rants. Typically an episode will only have one topic, though this may change as the show evolves over time.

The show will have its own website and will be linked when it is ready. A pilot episode has been recorded and will be uploaded here as soon as post-production is finished.

Dave Miller – Owner of KKOTD Network

Hello everyone, this is Rina here with my farewells. Dave was kind enough to forward all of my well wishes to my email and has promised to continue doing so. I would like to clarify a few things, as even Dave doesn’t know the entire story.

I woke up Friday morning with a text from my brother in Wyoming, saying that he was sick and needed help. Several texts went unanswered and around 4pm EST I get a phone call from the hospital. My brother was suffering from some unknown blood disease and needed 24/7 support. I love Dave and everyone at the network, and all the fans, but family must come first!

Call it a poor judgment call, but I type up and print out a short resignation letter saying how great it was to work for the network and that I was moving. I didn’t say why, or give any indication as to my whereabouts other than I was going to Wyoming. This is why Dave was freaking out! I would like to formally apologize for my quick and sudden disappearance and can only hope that you forgive me, I did what I had to do.

As of right now, I am in the hospital on my laptop typing this tearful post to you guys. I will always be around, and if my brother returns to stable in the future, Dave said I’d always be welcomed back with open arms. I hope that this is true for the rest of you as well.
